How do I know what to order?

Simply measure the total height from the ground to the step-off point and DeMuth will ship all the components required to comply with safety regulations along with complete assembly drawings.

What materials are used?

Box Beam Uprights are manufactured from G90, 16 ga., galvanized inset channel. Rungs are galvanized 1" dia. welded tubing with a knurled surface.

What safety standards are met?

DeMuth ladder and cage systems meet applicable OSHA and ANSI standards.

What type of lug should I order?

Demuth will supply lugs and nuts to match the rod strength and the field application.

What strength rods are available?

DeMuth offers standard 9/16" diameter tensioning rods at 40,000 PSI minimum yield strength with 20% elongation in 8". We can supply other diameters.

What is the thread length?

The length ranges from 4" to 6".

What coatings are available?

Zinc electro-galvanizing with either a clear chromate (silver) or gold chromate conversion coating. Other types of coatings are available upon request.

What lengths and diameters are available?

Lengths are available from 10' to 20'. Diameters are available from 1/2" to 1".
