Moved and Improved

On February 24, 2005 DeMuth Steel Products inc. moved from Schiller Park, Illinois to a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Rockford. We are strategically located ½ mile off the Route 20 bypass south of Rockford between three interstate highways.

Our new plant offers many advantages such as ample room for easier large truck loading and unloading and a better logistical layout for material handling and manufacturing. Our industrial ladder division is located in one section where materials are assembled and packaged for shipment. A large aisle is devoted to our feeding systems where feeders and conveyors are grouped by size for fast retrieval and shipping. A separate area houses replacement parts for the same reasons. The wide center aisle enables longer material such as silo hardware to be moved from inbound trucks to their own storage area to await shipment to customers in the Midwest as well as staging product for shipment to our other plants.

Manufacturing is located on the north end of the building as well as storage for raw materials. This arrangement keeps material handling to a minimum for added efficiency.

This move to a larger and more modern facility reinforces DeMuth’s commitment to our customers – to supply the best product at a fair price with the best service we can.
